Is the globe skateboard shoes with the Hex Trac really grippy? I'm thinking about getting a pair, but I want to know if they're seriously grippy. More than other shoes. If not, what shoes are? And tell me which model.

Which skateboard shoes should I get next for skating? So far, the shoes I got and liked were my Emerica KSL1 and 2, my Fallen Troopers, and my Globe Encore shoes. I'm thinking about investing in a pair of Lakai's, which I hear are good. Also I might want to try out Fallens again. It's been maybe 4 years isnce I got them, and alot of my friends suggested them to me. So should I either get Lakai or Fallen? And a specific model would be sick, thank you. I don't like Vans, DC, or Etnies. Like I said, Lakais or Fallens.

Slip on shoes slip off my feet? so i got these globe castro skateboarding shoes and my heal whenever i walk comes out becuase they are not tight enough in the back. They fit perfect on the other parts of my foot. how can i stop this to make it tighter in the back and not slip? i have tried tolilet paper and stuff but it is not comfortable. thanks!!! i am a guy by the way if you need to know..

Skateboarding Shoes which one? My son usually wears Globe shoes I am fed up with them only lasting lucky to be a month before he's asking for another pair of shoes as the ones he recently got have holes in them. What's so great about vans skateboarding shoes? So many people come up to me and tell me that vans are the greatest shoe to hit the market. Pros tell me that they make your feet feel the board in such a unique, different way. Girls came up to me and told me they were hot (...?). I was thinking about getting another pair of globes (which I loved), lakais or fallens. But now that I heard of all this "Vans is the #1 shoe" stuff, it made it hard again for me to decide. I got these vans slip ons awhile ago... and they suck for skating, but that's just cuz they're slip ons. So tell me, why do you like vans shoes so much, over all other skate shoe companies? girls am I unattractive? I wear baggy jeans and I don't sag them and normal shirts that aren't tight and big hoodies all my cloths earthy colors like white black brown green, almost all my cloths aren't brand name and are plain no design I have dark green globe skating shoes. I am a tomboy and a skateboarder....a huge problem for my family? hey'all I 've been skateboarding for like 8 months, i can ollie, manual and im working on my kickflip, I dress up normally, i mean i wear a volcom t shirt with jeans and globe shoes or an element t shirt and jeans and fallen shoes..whatever.. but my probem is that my mom and my sister are telling me to change because i ll never make friends like this( i have some skater friends though) they told me that i need to wear some girly clothes. Why do non skaters wear skate clothes? Hey everybody. I have ridden a skateboard since grade 3 (I'm 20 now) and since a bit after then I have been wearing skate clothes and apparel (DC, Etnies, Globe, etc.). What I fail to understand is why do people who don't skateboard wear these clothes? I do realize that skate shoes are simply more comfortable than most shoes (in my opinion) so I can't really blame them there.. but as far as t-shirts, shorts and the like go, they are no more comfy than anything else. It kind of distresses me when people go out of their way to buy these expensive clothes, then get all aggro when people call them a poser. I guess people just go along with what is cool and popular. Sigh..... If anyone who falls into this category, or doesn't, can tell me why they wear skate brands (DC especially!! Im looking at you blondie from teegan and sarah!!!) please do so. I personally would love to be enlightened. Speak up for all the non-skaters who have been called a poser!!! Also I realize it's a free country (go canada!! lol) and people can wear whatever they want, but to me, at least, it makes more sence to represent something that genuinely interests you. What reason would they have to like to like a skate brand if all the brand represents is skateboading? Hmmm... I suppose one could like the designs of the brand, but I'm sure that if they put their mind to it they could find an equally appealing design from a brand that actually has something to do with their way of life.
