Musical Snow Globes Knowledge Base
Looking for musical snow globe!..? hey there, im looking for a musical snow globe who has a bear in it who has grazed his knee and a nurse who is tending to it. I had one as a small child, and adored it but my younger sister broke it accidental. I've been looking for one again for longtime. Can someone help me?
What's wrong with my musical snow globe? I just purchased a brand new snow globe via ebay through a trusted seller. I received it today, and it was fine, but when i went to wind it up, it won't play music. I don't know what's wrong. I was wondering, is there a string you need to pull out of the base of the globe before winding it? Because there wasn't one, and i know with other globes, i've had to do that. Perhaps the paper broke off and is stuck inside? I don't want to mess around with taking the base off, i tried that and i almost couldn't get it back together. Who can fix music boxes inside snow globes? I've never had this problem before. It's also winter here, do you think that maybe the cold broke the music box? But, the water isn't frozen or anything close to it. it's completely liquid. Help is needed. Thanks so much in advance to everyone!
Is this a good quote to get engraved on a christmas present for a girlfriend? My girlfriend loves butterflies and there is a musical spinning snow globe with butterflies in it. The base is silver plated with a place for a custom engraving spot on it. The quote I want to put on it is "Brianna you and I will fly, like butterflies to the sky. I love you." Is this a good quote? Correction: "into the sky" not to the sky. The quote is on four lines written like this: Brianna You and I will fly like butterflies into the sky. I love you.
Anybody that can help me find where I can buy this snow globe, will get 10 points.? http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/601-7828898-5392928?asin=B000QSOVBU&afid=yahoossplp&lnm=B000QSOVBU|Victoria_Hagan_Musical_Winter_Wonderland_Snow_Globe&ref=tgt_adv_XSMG1060 It was sold exclusively at Target during the holidays and is now not available. I have already searched online and on ebay. Any other ideas. Anyone out there who can find it or has it would be much appreciated. Any links to a place to purchase it would be very helpful. Don't list: Ebay Target If you had read the question, you would know that I already tried that. Thanks to everyone for your help. If you actually do have the snow globe in your possesion, please let me know as I would be interested.
I am looking for something I had when I was little. Can you help me find it.? It was an Avon Fairy Queen Swan Lake Musical Snow Globe. It was very precious to me, unfortunately it was accidentally broken. I want very much to have it again. It was my very first snow globe, and I can still remember how surprised I was to receive it as a gift. If anyone can help me find one again, it would be so wonderful! If it's on any foreign language eBay it has already been sold. That is what I am looking for but it has already expired.
I have one of those Christmas BALL table ornaments from Costco's in which the water inside has gone cloudy? I have a CHRISTMAS MUSICAL BALL table ornament from costcos. Kinda of like those snow globes where you shake the snow which is suspended in water within the globe. Only this one is Big, Musical and spins by winding it up. Anyway, for some reason the water has gone murky or milky. Any idea if this is fixable? Is it possible to drill a hole in the glass without cracking it, and simply draining the water out? Would heat or something clear it up? Or just throw in in the garbage?
Is this message good enough? For my parents, I'm getting a musical snow globe with a message carved on it. Either that or a heart/star silver decoration thing with a message on it. Which one is better? "We love you" OR "Thank you for everything"
Should I warn my young employee about my dubious friend? I own a small family run shop in London and in February this year I took on a young woman to work for me part time. She's a grad student and a smart, warm and beautiful girl, if a little unworldly and young looking for her 31 years. I certainly can't complain about her work, a lot of my clientele are young men and she seems to draw them in and back! I also have a close old friend who when he is not out of town working often come into the shop just to hang out. He has no wife or family and I think our little shop is the closest thing to family he has. He is 47 and quite a character, not a handsome man but funny, smart, bitter and quite messed up about women. He's been on his own for a very long time and I don't think he expected to get involved with anyone again but he has taken a real shine to my shop girl. He is nicer to her than I've ever seen him be to anyone, always dropping into the shop when she's in and even buying her little gifts. Most recently on his return from the states he brought back a beautiful ( and expensive looking) halloween musical snow globe which she loved. Now he's not p*ssing about he means business with her and he's getting ready to make a move. Now part of me is happy for my friend to have met someone who he thinks he could care for again but at the same time I feel it is my duty to look out for this young woman. My friend is a great guy but he is troubled, all his relationships have ended badly, he becomes paranoid that he will be left, jealous and possesive, infact I have already seen him act this way over this woman. He doesn't smoke, drink or do drugs and never has but has used prostitues frequently in the past although not for the past couple of years to my best knowledge. This girl is so sweet and only had one boyfriend in her life from 18 till 29 and although she is very intelligent is somewhat sheltered and I'm not sure she can see whats coming. What should I do, should I intervene or it is best to let things take there course?
Is there anyway to replace the brown water in a snow globe? And why does this happen? I recently took out my Partylite snow globe from storage. It's an unique snow globe with a battery operated blower to blow around the snow, a wind-up musical box and an identation on top for a candle. However, the water is now brown. Is there a way to replace this? And why does this happen? I've read complaints online about Partylite but I haven't seen one about brown water except for one. However, that person posted in a forums and hasn't received an answer since that person posted over a year ago.
can anyone tell me who to sell collectibles to? and for how much? I have a massive collection of porcelain dolls, musical boxes, snow globes and clown figurines that i am in desperate need of selling. They were collected for many years by an 80+ yr grandmother..my friends family..granted some of these items look very antique and some of course do not. But i have absolutely no idea where to go to sell them nor do i know how much to ask. They are all inside the home in which i will be moving into very shortly. I recieved a phone call this afternoon by the owners and they asked me to come to the house. I didn't know they were wanting to leave all this stuff in this house for me to take care of, so... i need to sell these things and split the profit with the grandaughter...have any suggestions??
So there's this game I played? when I was like five, or something. I think 8, so that's 5 years ago. There was this game, and in the begining the guy ended up in front of his apartment or house, and he came in and it went to his bedroom, his babys room, and the bathroom. Someone broke into his house, like these 3 guys and they killed you if you just stood there. The baby like died, and when I went into the kids room there was like a musical thing playing. Like, a snow globe thing. It's like a mystery game, idk. HELP! I love this game, lol(:
where to get these items for christmas presents? suggestions? Roller Skates Snow globe (that plays music with the twisty thing) (Mini) Sewing Machine Snoopy stuff (pajamas, dolls, anything) Music box Musical egg (plays music when you open it) Hello Kitty stuff (again, anything) I don't know what to get/make for my dad. (He told me he didn't want anything because he doesn't want us spending money on him :P) Any idea's?
I'm moving and need to know how to ship my stuff. Help please!? I'm moving from Hawaii to Kentucky. I'm moving in two months and I need to ship all my things. I have family in Kentucky which is why I'm moving. I am NOT bringing furniture with me. I'm bringing clothes, books, CD's, Art Supplies, and other things like that. Also I'm brining musical instruments (more than I can carry with me on the plane) and figurines like porcelin figures, snow globes, and music boxes. They are all very fragile and I do NOT want them to break during shipping. So how should I go about doing this? Should I ship them by mail? UPS? Fed-Ex? or what? Like I know my friend moved and she used PODS but she had furniture. What should I do to make sure all my stuff get's there safely and with the east expensive cost? Thank u ! For the record this is my first time moving! :)

What Should I Write In My Crush's Christmas Card? I need some serious help. I bought my crush a Christmas card yesterday (it took me a really long time to pick out the perfect card.) and I had also bought him a present this past Saturday. (It's a really cute snow globe.) I'm planning on giving him his present and card this coming Sunday because we have our Christmas concert that day, and then I won't see him again until next semester. Everything is all set except I have absolutely no idea what to write inside his card. I have an idea of WHAT I would like to say to him I just don't know HOW. (by the way, my crush is probably about 15-20 years older than I am and is the pianist for the community chorus I sing in at my college.) What makes this challenging is, I've only known him for about eleven months, but we became fast friends. We've been friends (and I've had a crush on him) ever since I first joined the spring semester chorus in January. From that starting point up until now, we've been talking a lot, flirted a lot, I flirt with him a lot and he flirts with me a lot as well. I recently found out last week that he is single, and just in general, I really enjoy being around him. Now, what also makes this challenging is that he is very sensitive. I don't want to say the wrong thing and mess the whole thing up. (A few months ago, he had a night where he was playing so well. I usually wait til everyone leaves so I can stay behind and talk to him for a little bit. I was so impressed with his playing, that I complimented him. And when he heard my compliment, he blushed to the highest degree. So I had to explain to him that I meant that to be positive, and I really meant that and that he should be really proud of himself. When he heard my explanation, his facial expression changed immediately. he was so happy to the point where he was actually glowing.) So I don't want to write something that would make him blush or hurt his feelings in any way, shape or form. I had asked my best friend for help on what to write, and she suggested that I should compliment him on his awesome musical skills. But I told her that I've already done that on more than one occasion and I did that by mouth and not in writing. He clearly knows how I feel about his musical skills. He is not dumb in any way, shape, or form. The message I REALLY want to write is this, and it has like four parts to it. I want to thank him for being such an awesome friend, (since he lives alone,) if he ever wanted to do anything or ever wanted some company or something, he could always give me a call or send me an email, and I would be more than happy to spend time with him. If he was ever upset about anything or was having some kind of problem and needed someone to talk to or needed a shoulder to lean on, I would always be there. And finally, I wanted to tell him (in some form or fashion) that I am also single, so if he wanted a girlfriend (since he's been hardcore flirting with me) the door is wide open. And a bonus fifth, I want to tell him how much he means to me and how special he makes me feel. So yeah, somehow, I want to put all of that into one creative message. (The card itself does a pretty good job, but I want to add my own special message.) And I really have to say all of that in a way that doesn't hurt his feelings in some shape or form or make him blush in any way. Please, any help? I really need to have this all written out by Sunday. (And PLEASE, ABSOLUTELY NO STUPID ANSWERS!) Thanks!! I also wanted to know... should I put my cell phone number and/or email address, or home address in the 'letter' as well just for good measure? Because he would have no way of contacting me at all. (He knows where my chorus teacher lives, they've known each other for years, and my teacher and I live in the same town. And I told my crush that I live a few blocks over from my teacher, I'd still have to give him directions to get to my house, but my town is microscopically tiny.) So I was just wondering, if he wanted to stop by or something, he'd know where to reach me. Or would that be a bad idea?

I contacted the seller, but i don't know what they'll do about it. I got it to start up once, but now it's not working again, so we're thinking that something must be stuck or unscrewed inside it, since it did work once...

My friend is a screw up and I don't want her getting hurt, but she could be the best thing that ever happened to him. Maybe he see's her as a daughter he never had? No he want's to f*ck her there is no doubt about that. Wouldn't we all!
Why is my snow globe dark? We are unpacking christmas items and my sister has a musical snow globe and the fluid id dark brown in the globe. Why is this and can i fix it? The batteries are in good shape and not corroded and the music works fine.
