How Did dumbdog millionaire win? 4 golden globes and against so many good movies and Benjamin Button won none?

i was really hoping for Banjamin Button and Gran Torino to win but the indians won ???? wtf it dont even look good??? and the wrestler WTF come on the only thing that seemed right was Stevens tribute

1. I agree. I have never heard of this movie ' dumbdog ' ... it's not a movie that I would see just because of the name of it.. I can't believe it got as many globes as originally thought. You are correct in saying that the BEST thing out of the Golden Globes was in deed, Steven Tribute... I did not know he started out doing tv shows and moved to doing movies. He's one of the BEST out there and I'm Proud of his life goals...
2. Hollywood (and most journalists) LOVE the underdog. Slumdog Millionaire is a small film that a lot of people like & I wouldn't be surprised if it walks away with a LOT of Oscars. Mickey Rourke IS "The Wrestler". He is this year's BIG comeback story & people love comebacks. Gran Torino is horrible. Clint Eastwood is very talented, but this movie is a waste of time & energy.
3. If you saw slumdog you wouldn't be saying these things. I saw all the movies nominated and this clearly was the best one. I can't even describe it in a paragraph, just go see it ! I liked Gran Torino, maybe that should of been nominated. But slumdog was the best film and it deserved to win, trust me.
4. Maybe if you saw Slumdog Millionaire you would change your mind.
5. slumdog isnt just a good movie.. it is flat out awesome.. the music.. the story.. the writing... its the full package
6. "dumbdog millionaire"? You shouldn't talk badly about movies you haven't seen yet. I didn't give it a chance either, but I saw it and I was blown away. Benjamin Button is a good movie, not great. It has great acting, cinematography, and directing, but it just isn't the whole package. Slumdog Millionaire is.
