Wholesale Globes

How come the movie Twilight wasn't on the globes or critic choice awards?

I'm just curious. I haven't watched twilight, and i'm pretty annoyed with the fans.. but i must say isn't it suppose to be on the critic choice awards and the globes?? well why wasn't it on? and other movies?

1. Twilight is equivalant to a straight to dvd movie. That's why you'll never see it on ANY awards show. Straight to tv even.
2. Most critics think it's a pretty terrible movie,
3. Because the critics don't think it's worthy... I never agree with the critics...who the heck picked them to critique movies anyway.
4. The film received average reviews. I'm not sure what the Critic Choice Awards are, but the Golden Globes are decided by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
5. Apparently, it sucked. I haven't seen for myself, nor do I want to, but I've heard that the acting and visual effects were just terrible. Screaming little fangirls isn't all it needs to get an award.
6. There are no teenagers on the judging panel; for CCA or the GG, that's why.
7. Well, it wasn't THAT great of a movie, to be honest. And the only people who accually like the movie ((or at least a big chunk of the people who like it,)) are highschool preps who think vampires are "cool". ((No offence to those people who like it and have common sence..)) I read the book when it was first published, and I have to say, the movie changed so much and ruined it. I've heard alot of bad comments about it, so that might be one reason it hasn't won anything.
