Wholesale Globes

What is your opinion of The Topsy Turvy Planter and Aqua Globes?

I love the aqua globes they are awesome, they keep my plants perfectly watered, the Topsy Turvy planter seems really great, No weeding, I am trying it for the first time this year anyone with experience know how well they work? The concept is awesome, I cant wait to see how they work. I have started my Topsy Turvy, I think I could plant an entire garden this way if the plants dont get so heavy they fall out.

  1. Topsy Turvy is awesome. We have some great tomatoes coming off of ours. I do not know about the Aqua Globes, but they theoretically should work.
  2. I saw that Topsy Turvy Planter too......seemed interesting.....glad you asked, wondering the same... I was thinking you probably have to water it almost everyday like a hanging planter...when it gets larger...that was the only negative thing I thought about it......
  3. I've not seen any good results with the Topsy Turvy. I know a lady who tried one last year and got very little. They brag about how the water and nutrients run right through, but the problem is that they need to stay in the roots, not on the plant. If you want to keep out weeds, and you plant in the ground, put down a piece of black plastic as big as your planting area, cut X's where you want your plants (about 2-3' apart for tomatoes), and plant them in the X's, along with a cup of Miracle Gro for Tomatoes. The black plastic will keep out weeds, and keep in heat and moisture. I've not had any experience with the Aqua Globes, but the physics behind them seem to be right.
