How do they print globes?

I know that paper globes are printed flat and made curved later, but how do they paint those metal globes, the small cheap ones that are often also coin banks?

1. They are cast onto flat aluminum, then molded. Not so difficult.
2. i think that's just pre-painted stickers/acetate which they place onto the surface.. or maybe they do it by hand..
3. They find planets then they shrink them. I think they are usually printed upon some kind of stick that they glue onto the plastic orb. I've seen metal ones too, with geographic features imprinted into tin. Also, I bet they have painting machines like they use to paint care. The paint gun is on a robotic arm that can aim and shoot paint in great detail.
