Is the globe skateboard shoes with the Hex Trac really grippy?

I'm thinking about getting a pair, but I want to know if they're seriously grippy. More than other shoes. If not, what shoes are? And tell me which model.

1. I have a pair of Globe Falcons but they are not that grippy. If I were you I would get Adio Hamilitons those are really grippy when you start skating.
