Is it acceptable to mix and match the brand of skater shoes with the brand of skater socks?

I just bought a pair of Etnies and they are my first pair of skater shoes. I really don't wanna look like some kind of poser, so is it acceptable to wear a different brand of skater socks (DC, Globe, Emerica) with them? Or should I get Etnies brand? Or should I just stick with plain socks?

5. yea i mix match all the time.. and a lot of hardcore skaters i know do.. they dont wear just one brand they were a few

7. Tell you what. I had skater friends "back in the day" haha. Don't try too hard. Those guys would probably wear just an old pair of beat up socks with their skater shoes. Don't try too hard-definitely don't have to be the same brand socks. Have a good school year and don't worry about what people think.
8. matching too much and worry about your socks will make you look like a poser. Skates dont care. your fine :) Dont worry. its all about comfort
