Can I interchange commadore headlight globes, with Explorer headlight globes?

I have a 89' VN Commodore and a 97' Ford Explorer. I am wanting to put the Explorer high/low beam into the VN and put higher quality globes in the Explorer. Can this be done?

1. Yes but it would be better to go to your local Super Cheap and get a set for the Commodore If you go to say 130/65 Halogen / Zenon in the Explorer the alternator may not handle high beam for an extended time
