ive noticed friends just either buy cheap ass shoes from target or like globe, and some basketball shoes. whats popular now? i like the skater shoes cuz i put the laces inside the shoe bit and never have to tie em, just slip em in and out =) what brands are good for money/looks?

Aldo is extremely classy and i think the girls just love it. Vans are not bad either but the slip on only. Dunks and airforces are good too
Black leather dress/business shoes. Anything not leather is just kinda bad, these shoes might not be popular, but at least you won't look like a retard. You'll look sophisticated and nice.
Any Jordan Brand Shoe, or Nike... I prefer the Nike Air Max 90s. You can't go wrong with these and I'm sure people who know what good shoes are will double take on the street.
vans are good and so are nike's oh and new balances are pretty hot right now too and there pretty affordable.
